Composition – Private Study

Class Description

This class is geared for the composer that seeks to improve their unique gifts through weekly study. The class seeks to inspire the composer’s imagination and build compositional knowledge and experience. It will cover all aspects of musical composition, including motivic development, musical form, and instrumentation/orchestration. As works are completed, unique performance opportunities will be scheduled so that the works can be showcased within the broader community.

Dr. Michael Schneider has over 30+ years of composition experience. His works are in demand internationally and he has experience composing for all orchestral instruments.
